What Is LeAnaree
JU PEEPLES is a weekly Instagram "magazine" segment focused on visual storytelling and intimate editorial photography, from the mind of Julian J. Peeples: This project highlights models and creatives by documenting them in environments where they feel most themselves — their personal spaces, daily routines, and meaningful locations throughout New York City.
Rather than traditional studio portraits, JU PEEPLES presents real moments, personal narratives, and cinematic imagery, formatted as magazine-style spreads published directly on Instagram.
The Vision
Ju Peeples exists to tell stories through image and text.
Each feature centers on:
Authentic environments
Natural movement and presence
Thoughtful interviews
Editorial-level imagery
The goal is to create work that feels personal, intentional, and visually striking, while giving each participant a platform to share their story in a refined, magazine-style format.
What a Feature Includes
Each selected model/talent receives a full editorial feature on the Julian J. Peeples Instagram account.
A feature consists of:
A curated photoshoot in a location of your choice: Can be selected on start up submission.
2–3 Instagram posts formatted as a magazine spread (carousel-style)
Professionally edited images
A written interview integrated into the captions of post.
Full credit and tagging on all published content
All interview questions are shared in advance so participants can feel prepared and comfortable.
The Editorial Format
Ju Peeples publishes three stories per week, each featuring a different individual.
Each story is presented as:
A sequence of images designed to read like a magazine layout
Captions that function as short-form editorial writing
A balance of portraits, environment details, and candid moments
The result is a cohesive narrative that feels less like a social media post and more like a published feature.
Locations & Environment
Shoots are intentionally designed to take place in spaces where participants feel most comfortable and authentic.
Examples include:
Apartments or personal spaces
Favorite coffee shops or neighborhoods
Outdoor runs or walks
Yoga or gym sessions
Studios or creative workspaces
or anywhere in the City
Locations are discussed and planned collaboratively prior to scheduling the shoot.
Collaboration Structure
Ju Peeples operates as a creative collaboration (TFP).
Participants receive professional editorial imagery and exposure
Images are provided for personal portfolio and social use
All content is credited and published with intention and care
This project is about creative exchange, visibility, and storytelling.
Who Can Participate
Ju Peeples is currently focused on New York City–based artist.
There are no restrictions on:
Experience level
Background or identity
Style or discipline
Selection is based on story, presence, and creative alignment rather than traditional industry requirements.
Professional Standards
Every Ju Peeples session is approached with professionalism and respect.
You can expect:
Clear communication from initial inquiry to publication
A planned session timeline (typically 45–90 minutes)
Transparent usage terms
Respect for personal boundaries and comfort

Note on dates, This Publication is in it's infancy and is designed to run up to date weekly, (Hence, it is a fast moving project, I will work around you.. Seriously! Lol) I am looking to hit the ground running, as such, please note that I will meet you where you are and get what we need. I will have everything down to the minute planned, and would be flexible to operate with in your ideas, for location etc. Your will receive the tailored interview questions crafted by Julian J. Peeples 24-48 hours before shoots. ## Biggest note: this project is not meant to make everything pretty or ultra polished, and is designed to be raw, true, and you!
